Prep for a Tattoo
Walk-ins welcome, provided I am not consulting
or tattooing,
in which case we can schedule you a time to consult or get a
tattoo.
If you have artwork to show me for a quote, it is FREE.
For a complicated tattoo that needs quoting please come to the shop.
Please prepare a little on your own ahead of your visit.
Collect artwork to
show, print out designs from a computer,
bring reference books or sketches.
I
have 50,000 illustrations to assist you.
But give it some thought.
I take cash.

fun & easy.
You have never had a tattoo?
If you prepare, a little bit prior to visiting, it helps.
Please use these steps as guidelines, then visit me, you will feel more
prepared,
less shy and we can both use our time wisely.
A design, unique to your personal needs, will be created.
Your appointment is next set at an agreeable time.
Here are a few helpful suggestions.
Please print out your ideas from the internet.
(1) Think of your hobbies, sports, zodiac signs, memorable events, graduations,
marriages, divorces, promotions, favorite video games, words of wisdom,
religious text, praying hands, etc.
(2) Then search the library, the internet,
book stores for some visual reference
to bring in
as a starting point to begin our brainstorming.
(3) Show me your idea or search my extensive art at the shop for something you
find
to your liking and we can develop and define.
(4) Don't be too nervous, if you are sincere & want a tattoo we will make it
happen.
(5) After you decide on the final idea, I then give you a quote to draw & tattoo
you.
You put down 1/2 the money, I give you a receipt, the second half is due when
you get tattooed.
(6) Yes, I take walk-ins, if the client is ready to go, has a good idea of what
they want or is ready to decide with help then and there.
(7) You may bring and Ipod or DVD, or Ipad, or VHS movie to entertain yourself
while getting tattooed, if you prefer.
(8) You will feel empowered, and alive, confident to have succeeded in
experiencing something new and completing a new goal!
(9) Do not come on an empty stomach for your tattoo appointment, please.
Be sure to eat a good meal & have some juice (like O.J.)
On the day you get tattooed,
bring only one friend (since it is a cozy, private
and intimate shop),
and space is limited, also the less distractions the better so I can work.
On
that day you will want my full and personal attention.
Please understand a
tattoo requires a lot of focus and concentration
and the less distractions going on around me, the
better.
